Agreed, but the waiting room functioning was the key to that. The waiting room hasnt been the issue the last several years. Its a quasi-draw if you are able to log in the waiting room. If the site crashed like today and you cant be in the pool thats random, its different.

It is. I don't know why people just don't accept it for what it is. They're all screaming for a general NR draw but we already have one....you're in it now.

What they want is a draw that doesn’t depend on their 2-bit half ass servers crashing. One that doesn’t require you to buy a 200 dollar license and not be able to hunt with your family or friends.

What would be so difficult about a 3 choice draw, that allowed party applications up to 5 people, with a 25-50 dollar application fee?

This is madness.

Usually it is at check out where the problems happened. Who the hell knows what will happen this year. Stay tuned...

I did not know you could log into the waiting room early before the event. That is handy to know. I logged in a 5 min before 10AM MST and am #7291. Plus the crash. For those of us who just want a deer tag, it long wait. Must be a better way.

Maybe we should all donate to a conservation organization that recruits new hunters, so that there could be more advocates to improve the system that wasn’t designed for amount of hunters currently seeking to utilize the resource?

On a higher note this goes to what the hell are game and fish departments doing with the money they’re given? The people that keep their lights on get the worst customer experience imaginable. How is no one there thinking maybe we should try something different? What do they spend money on: butterfly reintroductions or yellow throated warbler counts?

Accountability is all but gone when it comes to government mismanagement of public resources. It’s infuriating that our tax dollars pay for this crap.

Looks like I'll be going to Idaho to buy the tag in person next year.

You can make the purchase at out of state outlets as long as they have the ID computer system. Friend of mine buys his at Sportsmans in WA. Talked to him this morning standing in line.
