Idaho Mule Deer and Elk Hunt

Gents,

Myself and my buddy are looking to try Idaho this year for an elk and mule deer hunt, was hoping to see if I could get some advice on an area, maybe recommended outfitters that we can start looking at booking a hunt. Neither of us have hunted Idaho and just looking for a place to start.

We are wanting to do a drop camp hunt, rifle and would like to hunt both elk and mule deer, and maybe bear and wolf if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

With your list of game you'd like to harvest, I'd start looking at unit 27, 26, 21, or 21A. You might want to keep an eye on the ID F&G website later this spring for the mule deer winter mortality report, it's looking like we could lose a large portion of our deer this winter.

This may be a rough year to harvest with the winter we are having.
