Yup, here I am. I live in idaho so no dog in this fight other than I have friends trying to get a tag.

Just signed in for the hell of it to see how it was going. There are only 17,996 people in front of me and 14,000 people that have come and gone... I.E. I am the 31,466th non-resident to sign into IDFG's website today.

You can buy both at the same time. Once you add the first tag to your cart the 20 minute countdown starts.

Well thought I was ok. Number 3000 something. But when it switched over out waiting it reset my login. Back to 20000 something, tag I wanted was gone 10 minutes later. Oh well, glad I have points other places, plus the random draw. I can hit 1/100 Random odds tags every couple years but not otc Idaho two years in a row.
And to the people saying this needs to be a draw. Well this system is pretty much exactly that - bad or good depending on your number, only downside is hunting with others is almost impossible for the high demand areas.

If you want to party hunt just keep adding and deleting tags from your cart and you will reset a 30 min timer, your welcome.

Meaning you can stay in the checkout area indefinitely until your buddy gets in as long as you fair amount of tags for unit you want.

3.5 hours later and I got a tag in unit………..never tell. That’s what got us here in the first place!!!!!

Finally got a tag after 1hour 43 minutes.
I don’t hate this system it’s basically like a draw but you get know “immediately “ if you are hunting or not. Wish some other states would let you know as fast

I started at 14,142 my brother and a buddy were ahead of me in line and both got tags in the unit we wanted. The list was not showing my target as sold out but when I was finally let in the zone we wanted was gone. I'll be calling this year and picked up a wolf tag and bear tag just in case.

Its still chaos just a little more organized. With this much demand they should just go to a random draw without points. At this point youre basically screwed if you are not available to be online at 10am Dec 1.

Agreed, better to go through the process today then apply for a permit and wait months to see if you've drawn or left moving on to plans B/C/D.
