ID Tag Sales 2022

Not if you went in person and waited in a different line bypassing thousands of other people.

I brought it up last year but was told to keep it a secret. What no one told me was the outfitters and their guides were going to beat me to the front of the line with their pocketbooks which apparently everyone is ok with, which is weird for a site with so many DIY folks.

2006: hunted Idaho. Tag issued on 8/23/2006
2007: hunter Idaho. Tag issues on 8/3/2007.

Purchased online both years. Nonresident archery elk tags. Times have changed.
Everything has changed 180*...
Everyone here posting glory shots of their arrowed ID herd bulls can own that. Not saying there shouldn't be some pride in their success, but it is what it is. I've shared pics too.

Social media has created the same monster that everyone here feeds.

Idaho can charge another 35% for tags, the state can use the revenue and the resource can successfully ask for it.

Outfitter tags come out of the outfitter set aside. You aren't competing with them for the same tags on Dec 1st

Wrong. I stood in line for 19 hours w an outfitter from Chalis. He was there to get 6 nonresident tags. He had his wife build the profiles of the nonresidents on the IDFG site. He sold the hunts with tags included.

I asked him the same guestion, don’t you have tags set aside? He said he was only allocated several tags. That amount was not enough for his buisness to survive.
