He seemed to enjoy it but enjoys anytime he gets to go out with dad.

I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old right now and will probably have a couple more kids in the near future. Well, I really like taking them on hikes and I was thinking about how rad a SG child carrier would be on my XCurve frame. I'm currently using a discontinued Sherpani to tote my living meat bags around but I think SG could make a superior child carrier backpack.

I know it can carry a grown man in the meat shelf. I'm pretty sure you could rig something up for a child. If you go look at our Instagram @1shotgear you'll see the video and have a good laugh.

That’s awesome lol. I just put my little girl down inside my reckoning bag with a hardback book in the bottom for her to stand on. I tighten the middle compression strap so she can sit in it like a sling. She rides pretty well back there except for when she twists my ear and tells me to go faster!

Of all the locations on the planet for you to take this photo, I don't think you could have picked one where your camo was more appropriate! LMAO

It is amazing. Shirt with road, bag with hill side and pants with the shadows.

Deuter kid comfort 2 mounted on a hunter frame, I wouldn’t recommend using the frames for anything other then what the manufacturer stated of course though.

Did you cut off belt straps?

Great ideas, put mine to work today on my new Kifaru lite frame. I took the shoulder straps off the Deuter pack and strapped down to the frame. I have some 1” quick attach tri-glides that attached the top of the bag to the frame.

I then just used 4 straps around the metal child carrier frame and to the other side of the Lite frame.

It held tight and my 3 yr old tight for about a mile light hike test. He’s about 31 pounds.

The Deuter was fairly comfortable, or so I thought. This was a much improved setup. This is my first Kifaru frame and very impressed with the comfort. I’ll be able to test more this summer in Colorado.
