i visited a range that had a nice safe 100 yard target. there was a massive hillside as a backdrop with low grass, so i figured finding my arrows wouldnt/shouldnt be that difficult.
talk about exciting and fun!! i'd never shoot at a live animal at this distance..but a target was a fun experience. i really had to focus on my good grip form, and more importantly, my trigger. stiff finger, pulled it with back tension. dropping the bow to see the arrow arch away, was no bueno. i had to exaggerate my follow thru hold..there was a decent breeze blowing directly into my face. it made my bow move some.
1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi.....thwock!!
i know there are some GREAT shooters here..so be gentle. i didnt miss.
