It looks like a face. The sort of "meh" face I have about this project.

I wanted to build myself an enclosed binocular harness to hold both my rangefinder and pocket binoculars, and since I love my Marsupial harness, used that for a base to build off of.

Materials:
  • 6lb XPE Foam
  • Home-dyed Tweave
  • 1/4" neoprene (I should have use two layers of 1/8"
  • Coyote brown foam sandwich mesh
  • 1" 17337 webbing
  • 1" elastic
  • 1/8" shock cord
  • Polartec Velour fabric
  • Magnets off eBay
Between the small size, stiff foam, and stretchy fabrics, this project really sucked. I should have made the neoprene for the lid a bit wider, but it works and will serve its purpose. I'm not stoked about this one. Oh well.

Dimensions are roughly 5" H x 4.25" W x 4" D

I ditched the buckles on the binoculars for 3/8” webbing, and really like how it worked out.

Sewing stretchy Shit is a mf. I haven’t mastered it yet either. Solid effort!! Like the ideas.

Innovation is birthed from necessity. Keep making. Something will stick.
