I don't suppose anyone's owned both Sitka Ascent 12 and Kuiu Pro 1850?

Looking for a direct comparison between these two for my deer hunting down here on public land. I already own the Ascent 12 and like it a lot, however I just purchased a used Kuiu Icon Pro system that came with a 3200 bag and a 5200 bag. I'm thinking of selling the Kuiu 5200 and Ascent 12 and picking up the 1850 for my deer hunts. Seems like a fairly similar comparison so maybe I'm just being picky, but hey it's off season. With our Texas deer I usually just throw the quarter bags over my shoulder, never usually more than 1/2 mile or so from the boat, maybe up to 3/4 in places, but the idea of packing meat out with the 1850 since I already own the frame is pretty attractive. My hunts are never overnight since the hike is short, and usually just morning/evening so capacity is not a concern. Both packs will carry my bow and I might be able to haul a lock-on stand and climbing sticks with the Kuiu? I'd save a little room storing it at home as well but that's not terribly important, just helps with organization. I did some searching here and Google and couldn't find any direct comparisons so figured I'd ask.

I can't give you a direct comparison but I do have an 1850 Kuiu bag. It gets used most as my archery single day run and gun elk hunt pack when I don't need something larger to carry big optics and tripods (it'll cary them, space just gets limited). You can cinch it down pretty flat if you don't need all the volume. They are pretty easy to stuff a meat bag between the bag and frame so they work fine there. I haven't hauled a stand with it but I have with a larger bag on the frame so that shouldn't be an issue. That's all I got.

Awesome, thanks bud. I think something inside me just wants to buy a new bag lol, but there are a couple definite advantages I can see with having the frame/hauling capability.
