I am noticing that my Hybrid HP's i have fletched with a max helical are clipping my rest as it falls down. And I have checked my rest timing and all of that is good. It's not every time but seems to be just every once in a while and now it just makes me nervous to bring them out in the field. I don't know why it's happening and now it's just put me off them. So now I need recommendations on what to do. Side note I already have looked at the arrow ballistics study but want to get some real world experience to.

I want something lower profile just so I have better clearance and I would prefer a 3 fletch so I can put it in a max helical jig but I can do 4 fletch's as well. I am a whitetail guy with most shots under 40 but this is kind of a hybrid setup that I hope to chase muley's or open country whitetails in the next couple years so keep that in mind. I'm more of a mechanical guy for deer and will be shooting the SEVR 1.75 Hybrid this year. I am leaning towards a hybrid 23 3 fletch in a max helical and want to see if any of you have done that and what the results are. Please let know of what you guys run cause I am definitely open to input. Thanks for the help!!

The only vanes I know I dont want are Max Stealths and any vane over 3" Thanks!

I just realized that I forgot about the mini sabre's so that's probably what i am gonna go with in a max helical jig. But would still love to hear input!

I just fletched up some arrows with the Mini sabres, 3 fletch. Left helical mini - max jig. I am using them for a a fixed head and they work fine and I see no difference in flight compared to my .55 bully vane which I think is the same size as the hybrid HP.

Tac driver 2.25 is lower profile as well. They make a 2.75 Driver too, only difference is the length between the 2.25 and 2.75.

Q2i maxes a fusion II or fusion ii-x that's lower profile.

That’s good to hear. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the mini Sabres. I’m excited to try em

I built a database for questions like this as I got tired of all the searching too.

Here's a filter on the vanes tab. Greater than .43 height and less than 3 length. I've got a few open boxes of a few of these I'd send some to send to you to test.

He's my .02 cents... Ditch the mini max and get a Bitz or OMP.

The helical is just so heavy and it doesn't do anything but make your arrow louder. Also, because they wrap around the arrow so much you damage them all the time. I fletch almost everything at 1.5d helical. Once I got away from heavy helical and use blunt bullet tips my reflecthing needs went down 75%.
