Hunting with an e-bike?

So I just got an e-bike. It is a fat tire, twin 48v bike with rear rack. It should have good range and seems to have ample power. Anyone else use one for hunting?? How do you like it? How is it set up (racks, lighting, ect...) post pics of your setup.

Can’t wait to get mine for sheds next year. Wouldn’t work for me for most my other hunts. But I’ve tested them and was impressed

It's a FTH power X2F. As far as specs go, it has a 750w motor, twin 48v batteries, you can run on no assist, pedal assist, or all motor riding. Its a budget bike but so far good reviews. They list for somewhere around $2k but I paid less than half of that through a friend. I got it because fish and game in my state told me they are legal behind gated roads/trails. I haven't done anything steep yet but she cruises over 20 MPH and should have a 40mi range or so. Should get me into some different country as into plan to ride in and hike from there.

I'm in the process of building mine. Just waiting for the motor. It'll be a 6000w beast!

Tires and air pressure are one of the most important aspects of the handling on a fat bike IMO. If you plan on getting off of the roads and on to trails, Dont be afraid to play with pressure and buy a really good pressure guage. The difference between 8psi and 5psi and even 3psi is almost like having a different bike.

I have a similar rear rack, a frame bag, handlebar bag and a couple little racks that mount to the fork legs. Lots of storage options. I also have the option of a single wheel trailer that attaches to the seatpost.

My goal for my bike is to use it for afterwork access to hunting spots. I should be able to gain access 20 miles behind a gate, setup camp on Friday night and be hunting Saturday AM on foot. Instead of spending Saturday hiking into the hunting zones....

tdot, sounds cool. My plans are similar. I plan on using my bike for afternoon rips when I don't have time to hike in for several hrs
