My hunting partner snores pretty bad. Most times we can sleep far enough apart that its not an issue. We have a late season hunt this fall where we will be sharing a hot tent. Normal foam ear plugs aren't enough! This guy saws logs! Has anyone dealt with this? Suggestions? Thanks.

This thread made me laugh. My hunting partner in CO was a terrible snorer, and would always be super apologetic about it in the morning when he saw how many freeze dried bags of food I had launched at him that night. But when we shared a tent, I would just nudge him to roll over and he'd quit, start up again, same thing. I'd usually get enough sleep to function.

Z quiet. It will help. About $100. Sends a message when you buy him one. Worth it for a decent nights sleep

I don't snore that often generally, but one time I woke up in my wall tent and I started throwing stuff at my buddy's cot to stop his snoring. Then after fully awake realized that I was alone. I think I woke myself up from my own snoring. :ROFLMAO:

I woke up in the middle of the night, deep in the backcountry of Wyoming. I was trying to go back to sleep when my hunting partner sang very loudly, "Love that Chicken from Popeyes!"

I just laughed out loud and went back to sleep wondering how he even knew I was awake at 3am.

The next morning he had no recollection of it and just did it in his sleep. He doesnt even eat Popeyes.

In my experience, the people that snore the loudest fall asleep the fastest. Adds insult to injury. One can only snore if they are breathing though...

This is the truth. I haven't hunted with anyone that snores in a long time, but family trips and stuff, woofta. My dad's side of the family is infamous for house rattling snoring.

I will not share a tent with anyone that snores. Sleep is too valuable in the backcountry.

There is no alternative but 2 tents, or tell your buddy to fix the cause of his snoring.

Your buddy likely has sleep apnea if he is that loud. A medical mouthpiece might help a bit, but nothing will cure it. So yeah, a second tent.
