Anyone ever hunted over there? My great grandmother was from Austria. And I find the hunting culture there to be really interesting.
Would love to book a trip in 27 or 28 for stag and boar.
I'm already starting to work on the language skills.
Checking the laws it seems I can bring a suppressed 6 UM. Not sure how much paperwork that'll require. Sounds like a problem for closer to the trip.
There any advice from people who have done it? Or who to book a hunt with? How bad was the cost of the total trip?
Not sure about the driven hunts. I'm all for it but where and how does an American even practice these shots? I know I've passed more running shots than I've taken. But a driven boar hunt would be a rush!
Seems everyone just skips to Alaska or Africa. But following a Jager around the alps or Bavarian forest seems epic!
