Kuiu owner is tall. Wish he would make a tall line. Attack pant, merino base, guide type rain/hunting shell (longer arms).

Both Kuiu and FL owners are 6'3" I believe. Funny thing is that Kuiu bottoms are longer and tops are just above average while FL bottoms are shorter and tops are long. When I first started looking at Kuiu I asked Jason about the length and his attitude was: well I'm tall so it should be long enough for you. So I wouldn't hold my breath on a tall line. I'm surprised Sitka hasn't started making tops in tall since they started offering tall pants a few years ago.

6'5" 200 lbs 36" inseam here, I've switched to the FL line and the pant is just a touch short (the 34 inseam is closer to 35), nothing to really complain about. I have ape length arms and all the sleeves fit great. I changed over from the Kings line of camo and their tall line is truly a tall fit. 36" inseam and so on. I haven't tried their XKG lineup but their other lines fit well throughout.

Bringing this one back up.

Has anyone bought the Kuiu attack pants and let the hem out. According to their website its a 34" inseam but the 2" hem can be let out to ~35"

Kryptek pants are a legitimate 35 hemmed. Could let em out and go 36 or better. I like the valhalla and dalibor.

I bought a pair of the Corrigate pants from First Lite. They are short but I am going to have the hems let out. I've also talked with First Lite and they are going to send me some extra material after they get a few returns back. They are slightly loud but I've read where they quit down after wearing/washing them a few times.

I called Rainy Pass repair to see how much it would cost to add a little material…for them to just let out the hem they told me it would be around $90-115. I don't think Ill be sending them in anytime soon if thats how much they are going to charge.

No doubt. That's ridiculous! Shouldn't take more than a couple minutes to let out both hems. Several months ago I called most of the manufacturers to see if I could just buy some extra material so I could sew it on myself, and every single one of the ones I called said they didn't have access to the material. Seriously?

can we bookmark this thread!!!. hahaha and include regular clothes too!!!!. im 6'5" with a 36" inseam on my jeans. i wear size 14s.

Kryptek is what i wear. The 35" inseams seam about right for hunting for me. less draggin low but enough length to lay over the boots in all situations. jackets are a little short in the torso for me i could use an extra inch but the sleeve length is long enough

Sitka seems just too short in all departments. close enough i could make do but for the money im paying it better fit

First lite...red desert boxers are comfy as hell hiking and arent wearing out or shrinking.

Side note i Wear Double H Loggers right now and they took a little breaking in but are very comfy and durable for a reasonable price but keep up on the obenhaufs for waterproofing.

What size kryptek pants are you wearing? What size waist are you? I'm 6'4" around a 36" waist and 35" inseam and finding pants that fit is a nightmare.

This feels like a Tall Guys Anonymous thread!

"Hello. My name is Ryan and I'm tall."

"Hello Ryan."

Lol. 6'7" 245# here. 36" waist, 35.5" inseam. I've been spending all summer buying and sending back items from various manufacturers. I've come to like the FL stuff the most, in comfort, fit, and style. I buy XL Kanabs and have the hems let out all the way and new backing sewn in to recreate the hem. The seamstress was even able to re-fashion the cinch string at the bottom. Also had the seat and waist taken in and they fit great. Corrugates didn't have quite as much to let out, but did the same to them. Maybe a hair shorter than I would like, but not bad. I have bigger thighs, so the XL in the Corrugates was more comfortable for me since I'm not used to the "skinny jeans" fit and feel. 2 pair of Kanabs and 1 pair Corrugates and I've thrown in another $40 for alterations which seems well worth it. For uppers, I wear large Llanos and got XL Chama, Puffy, and Fleece, mainly for the arm length which is still quite generous. I wondered how a large might fit in those, but I got tired of sending stuff back and forth to mess with layering. In a dress shirt, I'm a 17 X 36-37. I tried some Kuiu stuff and while I like the look and the build of some of their items, I seemed to find nothing really fit me right or even the same fit from item to item. Sitka I could never find anything remotely long enough in pants, even their "talls". I had corresponded with FL this summer about a tall line/offerings and they said it wasn't in the works at this time for 2016. Really though, they already seem to be the most generous with sleeve lengths, but it would be nice to see some longer inseams without having to have a 42" waist. So, as of now, I am trending towards becoming a "FL guy". Not just because of their fit, but I like the feel and function as well.

Late to this tall guy party. 6'4" here, the problem is that I'm also 300 lbs. Making me the worst combo tall & fat.

I can't find good camo. I hate it. I'll use some of the suggestions here and see if I can't come up with something usable.

You should be good with First Lite. Try them in XXL. I am 6'5" 230 and their large fits me perfectly (other than the Llano which I sized up to get a looser fit). The Chama and Puffy Vest are the only two things that haven't fit right: they're both a bit short and wide in the torso. I do with the rain gear had an extra half inch or so or a longer tail.

What size kryptek pants are you wearing? What size waist are you? I'm 6'4" around a 36" waist and 35" inseam and finding pants that fit is a nightmare.

Just got Kuiu Tiberon pants in 38 and they fit great! Plenty of length, could even let them out even more, not tight in the thighs but not MC Hammer pants loose either. Perfect fit. Also ordered them in a 36 and they are basically skinny jeans like the punk kids in the mall wear. I usually wear a 36" waist.

Got the Peleton 240 hoodie in XXL and it is just slightly too tight. It is a nice piece of gear but if you like to do pullups and have a back muscles it will be tight. Good length in the arms though - sending it back.

Also got a Tiberon shirt in 3XL and it fits real good. Not tight through the shoulders, good length, yet not crazy baggy. If you are around 6'4" and are in shape a 3XL will fit you well.

Decided to try the Kuiu sleeping back in the long version - don't bother. Super tight fitting, your legs are pinned together. Can barely zip it up over the shoulders. Unless you want to lay flat on your back, not bend your knees, and not roll at all it is way too tight, even for a mummy bag.

Tall and skinny here, 6'5" 190ish 32 waist 36 inseam, I've been rocking the FL line for a couple of years, the L Guide pant is more generous on the length than the 34" statement indicates but the Kanab 2.0 seem shorter, the tops (I wear the larges) have plenty of sleeve and torso. The couple of other lines I've used are King's (they have a tall line) and G-Force (going to this for my outerwear this year) and both have a good fit. G-Force doesn't have a tall line, yet, but the pants have a longer fit than their measurements indicate.
