Hey guys, I'm looking for a new pair of boots 800-1000g insulation. I've always had cheaper hunting boots, $75 or less and looking for something a little better. What do you guys prefer? I would like a standard 8" lace up waterproof style boot, minimum 800 grams of insulation. Thanks!

I have a pair of thorogood infinity 9” boots with 400 grams of insulation. Second season deer hunting with these boots and I still like them. They also have a 800 gram version.

I've been using a pair of Irish Setter Terrains. Super comfortable, have stayed dry (nothing extreme so far). Although, they are a 10" boot. 800gram.

Used ones. Look in the classifieds on forums, FB and eBay. I never buy new boots, my Scarpa grand Dru’s are $500 boots and I paid like $100 for them and they had only been worn for 1 day. Just make sure to get good pics of the soles, even one hunting trip will have a large impact on the traction on a boot so it’s pretty easy find like new boots from pics.
