YEAY!
PITA and HSUS are the antithesis to us hunters.....nice to put a dent in them..

To those that have helped support Humane Watch....your efforts are showing amazing results. HW has done a great job exposing the hypocrites at HSUS [Humane Society] and their lies.

if you aren't familiar with Humane Watch....its a great org that is worthy of your support. They expose PETA [people for the ethical treatment of animals] and HSUS for what they are.

HW has some really funny stuff on their website too....

Heres an excerpt from their latest blog on " HSUS a sinking ship"

In what could be termed “Bloody Friday,” we learned late last week that HSUS has laid off 55 employees in the middle of a major fundraising shortfall. Our understanding is that the figure is at least $20 million.

It sounds to us like a lot of charitable donors are wising up and figuring out that the HSUS ads they see aren’t aligned with how HSUS spends their money (only about 1% is given to pet shelters to help them care for animals). Or that the mail they get with branded socks or gardening gloves translates to a lot of money wasted.

Here’s what has to be a real slap in the face to HSUS staff: Not only were six-figure-salary executives retained (and there are dozens of those around) while a lot of little fish got flushed, but HSUS has parked about $150 million into offshore funds. Apparently Wayne Pacelle, Mike Markarian, and other HSUS bigwigs weren’t willing to dip into those accounts supplied by donor contributions to keep those 55 staffers employed........

Speaking of funny...this is great....

Another...exposing their priorities
HumaneWatch | Boston Globe: “Drop Dead”

The Humane Society of the United States is closing its only
wildlife care facility in New England, a death sentence for the
2,000 animals it helps each year.

At the same time, HSUS is spending $2 million pushing
Question 3, a Massachusetts ballot measure that would ban
85 percent of eggs and pork from being sold in the state.
Just another example of HSUS’ twisted vegan agenda
and upside-down priorities.

[sorry for the long post]

It amazes me the number of people that think the HSUS is the parent organization for local humane societies.

Bunch of dirt bags. They absolutely piggy backed of the local humane societies name.
Gotta admit to being guilty of assuming (yep, bit me on the ass more than once..) that they were one and the same. That didn't last too long, but long enough.

So I knew they were not as much for shelters as they pretend. But I have an aunt that gives every year because she think that is what they do. Can anyone suggest a charity for her to give to that does support shelters?

If you google "humanewatch" the first thing that shows up is an ad about "who is attacking HSUS"

It's a defense by HSUS of the accusations humanewatch and others make.

It's a pay per click ad. If you click on it... HSUS pays google for that click. Just sayin'View attachment 46779

She can write a check to her local shelter. Around here they are county funded...but they take donations.

The other orgs like ARF though not as bad as HSUS are similar in the fact that a huge % of you donation goes to other stuff besides animals. There was an analysis on ARF a few years ago and they brought in something like $10 million....and adopted out less than 100 dogs/cats that year.

Don't feel bad bro....their ads are very deceiving.

Personally, I try to toss some spare change to these watchdog orgs like this one every once in awhile. They keep folks honest. Another; Judicial Watch is the outfit that went to court with the FOIA Freedom Of Info Act to get the truth about Hillary's emails.....that exposed the fact the Obama DOJ was covering up huge security breaches.

Some of these outfits do a great service by exposing dishonest practices otherwise how would we ever know? Humane Watch is one of them.
