I ditched my Mathews as I didn't like how jumpy it was, and am going back to Hoyt. I shot a RX8 Ultra and the valley felt great, but I do also have a RX9 Ultra on order as well. Has anyone shot/currently own a RX9 Ultra that can speak to how the valley is? I don't need a huge valley, but I do like to feel locked in on the backwall and be able to relax a little so I can focus on aiming. If anyone responding can say whether it is better, worse, or equal to a Mathews, that will be a good indicator for me. I plan to shoot it at 85% let off.

So you ordered a bow, that you haven’t shot, but want other’s opinions on it?

I have two. Fantastic in the wall. Most solid I’ve had on any bow and the ability to adjust it hard or extra hard. The valley doesn’t even feel like one. It’s hard to tell that you’ve even rolled into it as there is no pronounced dump. It’s also one of the least “jumpy” bows I’ve owned. I gave my Lift to my nephew.
