Hoyt Nitrum Turbo WOW !!!!

I shot the Nitrum Turbo at. 28.5" today at the bow shop, set to 60# what a sweet shooter! Depending how the Xcentric 7 shoots I will be choosing between those two.

You're going to have a tough choice between those two bows Jacob. Both are sweet rigs.

That's a good position to be in I suppose. Never shot a Hoyt before but man that was one sweet bow. Just need to find some extra money!

Was shooting a 450 grain FMJ Injexion @ 278! No reason to go up to 70# I don't think. I really would like to shoot 200 grain heads, might have to go with Black Eagle Deep Impact 200's Firenocks Aeroutsert and my trusty VPA 3 blade heads. Should come in real close to 570 grains and make a quiet bow even that much more silent

My spyder turbo shoots 500 gr arrows at 300 fps. I'm pulling 70# 30 inches though.

Trying out some NAP Quick Spins and only had 2 fletched up. First impression was more drag than Blazers out past 60 yards but man I was impressed at 90 yards. Will test them some more in the very near future.
At 90 yards it was a very consistent and was able to keep the 2 within a 4 1/2" spread. Here was my tightest two at 90 yards.

How's it shooting with fixed blade heads? I am a huge fan of VPA 3 blade heads and would use those all the time

Going with Easton DaTorch arrows this year and been pounding the groups down range with them. The Hoyt Nitrum Turbo is just impressing me more and more every time I get a chance to shoot it. Stayed away from shooting groups for the most part due to the lighter GPI DaTorch but decided to put them to the test lately. Gotta say, they are holding up to a beating and highly impressed. Never thought I would replace my Injexions but these might do just that. Tight tolerances, speed, tough and crushing it down range, now that's what I call an all around great arrow. All behind the power of the Nitrum Turbo, makes for a deadly combo .

Fixed blades are on the money, take your pick. Have tried about 8 different heads so far.

Good shooting there bud, I would shoot VPA 3 blades or possibly Solid heads. Tried either one of them by chance?

Haven't tried the VPS's but the solids have been great right with my fieldpoints

I would think it's possible. I know its not offered by hoyt but I bet a frankenbow could be erected like this!

I wouldn't do it. The reason Hoyt didn't is because of the design of the cams. It's the first bow that has not been offered in 80's for like 10 years.

This was told by me from Hoyt when I wanted an 80# turbo.

With that said I'm sure you could figure a way around it but hoyts never shied away from heavy limbs, especially through the custom shop, so when they say they absolutely won't due I I take notice.

That's what I would assume. I don't think they are harsh at all( which is why I wanted 80#ers)

Picking up the Nitrum Turbo this evening when I get off work! Went w/the Pure Driven 75, Black Eagle Deep Impact 30's. Can shoot 100 or 150 gr points depending on the length of the arrow.

Need to get it tuned and sighted in for the Prime TAC here in Big Sky in a couple weeks!

What is the average price for a turbo?
