I don't think that would ever be a thing here. We are a net oil exporter. The whole world can stop selling us oil and we'd have more than we need still. We are the #1 oil producing nation on earth, at almost double Saudi's output.

No but 2 numbnuts I work with were trying to build something and I thought I overhead one of them call out a measurement of XX 2/8". Nah I must've misheard him. Few minutes later I clearly hear XX 6/8". Sat there shaking my head while they argued about whether 6/8" was real measurement realizing neither one understood how to reduce a fraction

That guys got a future as a B&C measurer

We can't realistically stop this war in anything that looks like a win. There's also no way to actually win something that has no objectives. The only reason oil prices are staying this low is because us and some of our allies released 400m barrels of oil from strategic reserves. That will only keep it down for a bit. We're still looking at eventual $200/barrel oil.
