Diesel in Idaho is up. Paid 3.99 for diesel last night. But ill take that over paying 5.29 in Oregon when I was heading back from NW Hunt Expo.

Brightside, at least the banks (jp Morgan ) blackrock, and others will enjoy this war.

2 weeks ago i filled up the truck and it was $2.40-2.50 everywhere.

Few minutes later I clearly hear XX 6/8". Sat there shaking my head while they argued about whether 6/8" was real measurement realizing neither one understood how to reduce a fraction

Saw Diesel in NW/PA 5.00 a gal, red fuel is 3.99.

Local 10% ethanol blend no name is $3 for "cheap" gas, $3.29 at Shell or Chevron. A month ago Wal-Mart had their gas for $2.13. Yesterday it was $2.99 and that used to be the place to find the best price. Diesel $4.29

Prices were $2.25 for gas at the local station last Friday. Just looked today and they're at $2.75. Travelled out of town (~3 hrs) this weekend and saw $2.99.

Glad I don't need to get fuel for about 5 weeks. Since we already won prices should be back to normal soon.

They say the hardest part of a quick two week war is the first

Drive 2 miles west into PHX and the price drops 30 to 40 cents a gallon.

$200/bbl is a very realistic scenario if this continues as is for a good length of time.
The president does have the power to stop American exports of oil, which would decouple us from the rest of the globe and keep out prices lower. And he probably would. $10/gal gas isn't politically popular.

9/10ths of 1 Cent.
Back when it was implemented it was a federal fuel tax and they felt 1 entire cent would be too unpopular.
This was back when the federal income tax was supposed to be temporary to help pay for the First World War

It's an American thing.

It's actually less numbers to write/display 3.999.

Might be a subconscious fear of letting go of fractions.

The fraction 9/10 is only used on the large signs advertising prices. On the pump it is shown as 3.999
