Howa Mini Rifles, Builds, and Upgrades

Depending on use conditions, a touch of grease/lithium can help with surfaces but use conditions should be considered. Everything is a trade-off.

There's no way around the fact that a high pressure spring in a short/light bolt...housed in a light overall weight gun...will be tougher to raise. That doesn't mean it can't be improved somewhat, but there's a trade off on the size/weight/reliability. Everything is a trade-off.

Shot my 6arc mini this weekend and loved it. I am going to throw a brake on it but I am having trouble finding a 6mm 1/2"x28 brake though. Any suggestions?

not necessarily a need but id imagine it would be more effective being closer to the diameter of the actual projectile (I understand they are bored larger for clearance)

Factory Howa Mini with wood stock and a CF barrel. Until I decide on something permanent, I'll probably mount an unused scope I have in the safe on it,

Trigger breaks at about 3.5lbs according to my Lyman device. I'll probably have my gunsmith trim the spring (I am not good with small parts)

Love that wood stock! Let me know if you wanna sell it! 😂

Nice! Any way you could get a weight on the wood stock? Thanks.

Weatherby used to have diameter specific brakes for sale. Most of their barrels are 1/2x28 threaded as they are really thin.
