Would the consensus be that Varget is probably the best option to chase velocity with a temp stable powder? I need something as stable as possible cause I will hunt form 75-80 degrees in the early season to 10-20 degrees in the late season.
Some groups with 22” Howa Mini 6 ARC 30.7 grains Lever 108 ELDM. 2750 FPS. It rings steel at 600 well.

I stopped at 30.5g under the 95’s in the AR I just didn’t trust the 6ARC bolt.
What OAL did you have the 108’s loaded in your mini?
I should would like to find some 95 tmk bullets.. heard they would be in stock around mid January but that hasn't happened anywhere I can findFrom my experience, lever groups leave a lot to be desired until you’re at or near or above listed Max loads.
I got 2800fps with 95tmk and lever in 16” barrel at 2.3” OAL. I was cratering primers. 2700-2750 all day no issues.
Youll get 2800 in a 20” barrel with lever no issue I’d think
Still looking here as well. Sierra told me mid-Jan. Maybe they’ll hit the shelves soon.I should would like to find some 95 tmk bullets.. heard they would be in stock around mid January but that hasn't happened anywhere I can find
100gr tgk are hitting dealers, sierra told me the 95s were getting ran after that. I have several thousand on back order from a few vendors via my smiths dealer account.I should would like to find some 95 tmk bullets.. heard they would be in stock around mid January but that hasn't happened anywhere I can find
Some discussion about Timney triggers and bottom metal here. Looks like @Kaleb in the post I linked is running a Timney and JO bottom.Has anyone used a Timney Trigger in a Stockys VG stock with JO Bottom Metal? As in does it fit without modification? I reached out to JO and his response was he hadn't personally but had other customers state it wasn't a problem. Just seeing if anyone on here has? If it clears and works fine, I am thinking about ordering the timney.
I put a Timney in my mini. The stock trigger is back further on the actual assembly. The Timney is more forward and a larger curve. So it will need like 1/8” or less trimmed in the guard to allow the bottom metal to sit properly. My gunsmith did it for me.Has anyone used a Timney Trigger in a Stockys VG stock with JO Bottom Metal? As in does it fit without modification?
