It has run flawlessly so far. Maybe 400 rnds thru it. I’ve also done another in 6 ARC that has even more rnds thru it and it’s done great as well.
Thank you for getting back to me. Now I may have to really take advantage of a stainless action and do the 22 ARC.

I have looked at those recently. I wish a company would make a carbon stock for them.

MDT makes a good looking stock for it, and they make great stuff. Probably heavier than you want though. Going to let my son shoot it as is with the really short LOP of the factory stock, but my plan is to put the MDT on it and a timney trigger if we really like it and want a better stock.

Stocky’s make a carbon stock for them.

Either traditional hunting grip or vertical grip versions.

He was asking about a Ruger American Gen II carbon stock not the Howa Mini Actions.

Finally actually put the Howa Mini 7.62x39 converted 16” .22 ARC to work on a high fence S TX management buck. 88 grain ELD M, 140 yds roughly with a Polonium K can in place. Found jacket sticking half way out offside hide on the upside in pic. Apparently core passed on thru. Entry hole was golf ball sized, exit was dime sized upon examining interior rib cage. Can only assume due to cup and core separation. Not much blood on ground but also only made it about 35 yards.
Both lungs and aorta took the brunt.
