I'll have plenty of ice, but with any luck I'll be driving 2 days with 2 pronghorn bone-in, quartered only. I've got to image it being enough? Else, would you split the meat into two different smaller coolers? I have a couple of 65 quart ones too.

Thanks!

One 150qt should be plenty with ice. Just drain water and add ice on the drive home if needed. I used this set up last year and fit two easily with ice. I did use a separate cooler for cape and head but that may not be necessary.

I've put 6 doe pronghorn into mine bone in before. It's tight with ice, but you can make it work.

I fit two antelope bucks and a mule deer in a 120 quart. What I usually do is fill my 65 quart RTIC completely full with frozen 2 liter bottles. When the critters are quartered and cooled down I put them in the 120 quart and throw as many 2 litter bottle on top as I can fit.

I’ll do something like this. I’ll load my Engel 80 with frozen jugs/ice and take an empty Igloo 120 for packing meat on ice and driving home.

I always think about the size and weight. I’m of the opinion that the smaller cooler is easier to carry and store in the vehicle. I’d rather have multiple 65-80 quart coolers.

I've put 2 whitetail does (100# class) and 2 bucks (164# class) in a 150 qt cooler.

The antelope I've shot have been small but you can fit at least 4 antelope (quartered/bone in) in a 150 qt with ice.

I was barely able to fit a boned out 5-pt bull Elk in a Yeti 150, but, not enough room for ice. Estimating around 200# of meat for that guy.
