How much is diesel where you live?

Not sure if Colorado or the Feds snuck in a $1.50/gal tax while we weren't looking or what, but the spread between diesel and gas is ridiculous here. Gas is running about $1.83 or so in a few places, while diesel is still as high as $3.55. What on earth is going on here? Seems very logical that if there's an over-abundance of gas, then refine diesel instead since there's obviously a diesel shortage. That would eventually bring the two together..........if that's even the issue.

regular gas 2.25 diesel 3.29 just across river in fl diesel is 2.99

Here in southeastern Massachusetts (as of yesterday) I paid $2.99 for diesel (with $.10 off being a Cumberland Farms smart pay member) and gas at the same station was $2.09.

Some stations not more than 4 miles away have diesel as high as $3.29 and in neighboring RI it's even higher.

That said, I don't expect it to last.

Gas is 1.68 and I filled up with diesel for 2.66.. I'm not sure why but it's only on gas station most the others in town are 1.99 and 2.99
