Not sure if Colorado or the Feds snuck in a $1.50/gal tax while we weren't looking or what, but the spread between diesel and gas is ridiculous here. Gas is running about $1.83 or so in a few places, while diesel is still as high as $3.55. What on earth is going on here? Seems very logical that if there's an over-abundance of gas, then refine diesel instead since there's obviously a diesel shortage. That would eventually bring the two together..........if that's even the issue.
