I'm getting a little more envolved in multiple states and species this year and the bill is adding up quick. Just wondering how much some of you guys are putting out a year in draws? I'm looking at around 5 grand this year.

For the last 10 years running two nonresident tags in Idaho and nonresident in mt a cool. 2 k as we speak and more fun days afield than I can recollect along with a nice rack or 2:) in time all we have are the memories photos and stories so if you have the resources and the family is ok with it don't look back

Non refundable or refundable?

I'll be out around $3.5k non refundable this year. Building points across the board in AZ, UT, and a few species in CO and WY. I'll be actively trying to fill two WY antelope tags, an AK black bear tag, AK moose tag, MT elk tag, and MT deer tag. I'll also have 5 turkey tags in AL and KY and deer tags in AL and KY as well. All archery, all DIY. Bring on the 2014!

For $237 I get my BC license, black bear, cougar, mule deer, whitetail, elk, sheep, and goat (hope I can draw that one). Doing some Alberta hunts too. For just under $500 I get my mule deer, whitetail and antelope tags as a non-resident. Have to almost double those numbers for my wife's tags.

Buster.... shhhh, you'll get all kinds of people trying to move here. :)

For about 5K last year I did a week of coastal griz, couple weeks of sheep/goat including the flight in, an interior moose trip and a late season interior whitetail trip... for 2 people. That figure also includes licence and tags.

California res, deer, bear, waterfowl, upland and pig are guarantees so 185, if I draw elk antelope or sheep it obviously goes up. Oregon non res im at 650 for general archery elk, again if I draw sheep or goat it goes up substantially. not sure if I will hunt Washington and Idaho this year or not. so I will probably be under 1k unless I draw something special.

How are your guys numbers so high? I put in for 7-8 western states and around 38 different tags and my number is around 1500 non refundable.

Kinda what I was thinking Dr. It only really starts to add up when you start drawing a couple of those N.R. tags.

MT NR Deer/Elk Combo $1002.16
WY NR Antelope Buck Tag $286
WY NR Antelope Doe Tag $48
WY Archery Permit $30
WY Conservation Stamp $12.50
AK NR Black Bear Tag $225
AK Hunting License $85
AK NR Moose Tag $400
KY Archery Bull Elk Draw $15
KY Res Sportsmans License $95
AL NR All Game License $293.60
AZ Hunting License $160
AZ Elk, Deer, Sheep Points $45
UT Points across board $125
WY Elk and Deer Points $90
CO Deer/Sheep Points $2400 ish , $80 non refundable if I am reading regs correctly)
Federal Duck Stamp $15

Grand Total $5312.26... Non refundable $2992.26. Interesting to actually add it all up (first time I have done this exactly instead of a ballpark figure). Depressing sort of, but far better than what other guys my age blow their money on.... and all in still comes out to less than one guided Mule Deer hunt. DIY is the way to go for sure!
