How Many Rounds?

How many rounds to you take when on an out of state trip? Particularly if your cartridge of choice is unlikely to be on a shelf in the store?

20, ten in your gear and ten in the truck

At least 100. Enough to sight in a new scope. I take 20 into the back country on a horse trip and ten if I have to carry them, but there’s no reason not to have more than you need in your vehicle.

Reload box holds 50. . . It's normally full when I leave. If I'm hiking in, 10-20 but there will be extras at the truck in case I bounce a scope off a rock!

I’ve been taking 16 for a few years now. Three in each mag and ten in my bino harness.
