How many of us regularly shoot at long distance for practice?

I try to stretch it out as much as I can. Not only does it force you to concentrate on technique, it’s just way more fun seeing those arrows drop in

I want to shoot the upcoming Total Archery challenge and be sufficiently accurate out to 120 so I’m not just launching arrows into the trees. I can only shoot to about 70 in my yard so I’m searching for a spot to shoot beyond that. Also shooting steep uphill and down hill to get my 3rd axis dialed. I’m having a lot of fun doing it tho.

By mid summer I'm shooting most of my shots at 80, but it takes a month or so to get there. I take Q1 off.

I rarely shoot under 50, basically only to check my marks. In summer when I am dialed most shooting is at 60, after that I walk the field course and shoot single arrows at each bale, from 55 to 80 or so.

Then practice at 100 often when I am dialed and the wind isn't rippin!
