Used to get to 23-26 during college but got down closer to 15 the last two years. Hoping to find a piece of public close to home to bow hunt on this fall.

23 for me this season, almost 100% travel hunts.

- 3 days spring turkey in Arkansas
- 13 days archery elk in WY
- 6 days archery Nilgai down near the Mexican border
- 1 day of archery whitetail hunting near home (I’ve lost all passion for WT)

I’d love to do more but 4 weeks vacation is hard to stretch any further! I Need to move closer to the mountains!

I don’t hunt as much as I used to since I quit duck hunting. Deer and pheasant is all I chase now and those days don’t add up to as much time hunting as I have had in the past.

This year I got about 35 days. All were overnight trips. I have young kids, other hobbies, a demanding job, and a wife with a demanding job and hobbies. 35 was probably pushing it a bit. Usually I get 20-25 days.

During deer season I try to go every other weekend. I scout year around. Typically it is a full day every time as it is to far to go for quick trips.
