Guns are icky. I can’t believe you guys would own such weapons of long range sniping ability. You’re all a menace to society.

One. Ruger m77 30-06. I do have a 243 for my kids though as they grow older.

I have two. One is my grandfather’s FN deluxe in .300 Savage and the other is my Tikka .280. Oddly enough, my 12.5” AR has taken more deer than most people see in their entire life.

The only rifle I have that was bought to hunt and hasn't drawn blood is a No1 in 375H&H. I've put meat in the freezer with a .243, .270, and .45-70. All great for what I bought them to do. I'd like to build something that meets in the middle of my .243 (13lbs) and .270 (8lbs) that carries a little more oomph than the .270 at distance. Still don't know what that will be but if I could find a Tikka Super Varmint in 6.5 PRC, it'd probably scratch that itch.

Okay so I’ve held off as long as I could stand to but I’m starting to build a new rifle again. I do have some guilt because I don’t need it at all lol. I was hoping some of my fellow roksliders share the same illness as me and also that some of you have more than I do so I can make myself feel better 😬

So how many do you guys have anyway?
Sold my .30-06, down to a .270 Winchester and a .45-70. Most of my hunting now is with
a handgun, .44 magnum or .454 casull.

4, with some options. Old model 94. Two Identical Tikkas with a handful of barrel options between them- 22” 280ai carbon6, 24” 6.5-284 carbon6, 20” 7-08ai sporter, stock barrels in .243 and 6.5cm. Both in mesa precision stocks. Stock barrels and a youth stock for my daughter in a few years. 4th is an old model seven I’ve had for decades, currently with a 17” 7-08ai. Lots of components and good load data for all of them, so I’m set for a good long while. Bench guns keep the round count down on hunting rifles.

I have a ML and 450 bushmaster to stay legal in the midwest for whitetail. Then an AR and a 7mm SAUM.

So 4 total rifled guns

but just 1 western big game rifle. I'll probably add a 30 cal mag of some kind before my next elk hunt.
