How many animals do you hunt in a year?

I shoot (or at least try to shoot) every year
moose
one or two black bears
coyotes
spruce grouse
ducks

all unguided, on local public land

How do you hunt allogators? Do you eat them?

We Primarily glass up a big one in the daylight or spotlight at night and then slowly approach until in range with a heavy duty fishing rod and large weighted treble hook. We sling that across their back and hang on. It’s usually a fair fight until we can get a bang stick in the back of the skull.

Forgot to add. We do eat the gators, but will often sell them to local processors as well.

How can you kill 41 yotes? Are there so many?

That’s very cool, you must be very experienced at this pace!

Im just learning there are guys out west on the cattle ranches that do that in a weekend. But for eastern coyotes that ain't a bad talley.

Do you have specialized rifles for coyote?

AR-15 in .223/5.56. Or .243 for super long range in the prairies. I shot one with a .308 one time in Missouri at close range during deer season and I would not suggest that for coyotes.

Hunting mountain lions must be a crazy experience. How do you hunt them?

I’ve had a few charge me, but usually I just wander around and hope to see one. Its not real productive but better than being at work.

Best year was 27 for me (16 roes including 7 males, the rest were wild boars and one fallow deer) then i was single and things became a bit more complicated XD

I have 4 daughters, we eat probably 8-10lbs a week of game meat.

I kill elk as I find them. Sex relates to tag limits. Deer depend on how far from the truck. They have been kind of scarce lately. Coyotes are as encountered.

Early is grouse and late is geese but they fit under public service.

OK Spring turkey (maybe)
ID Archery elk
OK Whitetail deer (hopefully a buck and maybe a couple does)
MT Mule deer

Good chance it is my best season yet

I just depends. Not counting birds though, I’d say 1-5 just depends.
