How is Oregon Unit chamges going to effect points?

Has anyone noticed some examples of new Area tag numbers seem to be way less than prior year, even adjusted for the combining and allocating of prior Units? I know there was some typical tag reductions (maybe a 5-10% as we've seen over the last few years), but some I'm looking at are like 30-40% reductions.

This is with the assumption if new Area A is partially comprised of 1/2 of old Unit 1, I'd consider 1/2 of Unit 1 old tags. Maybe this over simplifies it but it seems like it should give a rough estimate of where the tags should be for 2026.

I usually hunt an easy to draw unit, the portion I spend all of my time just got cut into a sub-unit with 40% of the tags… sucks

I live in Southwest Oregon where everything's in over the counter tag but have built up 12 points and might go for one of the hard units just to see if it pans out. I liked the idea of Warner but now it might only take few points and everybody's going to be concentrated in one place. Has anyone noticed if Onx has updated the units?

Yeah there’s an option in the Oregon hunt layers for mule deer

Well an entire genetic class of deer in Oregon was killed off at one point so… not to hopeful for the state. Curious if I want to drop in as a non res this year or next. If they cut the tags.. a 20-30% reduction for a few years it would probably be pretty good. Also allowing wolf trapping and hunting that may help also…. I think Oregon has bigger fish to fry than complaining about a restructure. I also would normally say fish and game are trained professionals who know best, but when your fish and game is controlled by some lesbians in Salem there’s not much power for them.
