how do you get the wife approval for backcountry trips solo, its something i always seem to have issues with...

After 30 yrs my wife knows I will be as careful as possible and I show her on google earth where I will camp and she is also aware of who she can contact in the event I don't show up or call as expected. Per wifes response "she tries not to think about what could happen any more and not let it stress her out". She knows things can happen and I will do what I can to stay as safe as possible. Lastly she said "it is nice if there is plenty of life insurance so if something happens she will try to spend away her sorrow"
