How are you guys getting payment for sales?

I have a few things listed for sale and all my messages are from buyers with zero feedback. After a quick search it looks like just about everything can be reversed these days. This has probably been discussed before but my search terms did not come up with anything. Is there a thread here I am missing about seller safety?

PayPal F&F or Zelle or Venmo with no obvious notes for any 2A related. Using goods and services for anything 2A related is a sure fire way to get banned from Paypal/Venmo AND lose the transaction money.

If they're a noob, just ask them to mail you a check or money order and wait until it cashes. If they're in a hurry that's a red flag.

I still like Goods on PayPal in circumstances where seller is new or suspect. Just don't describe it as gun or ammo.

Checks can cash (be credited to your account), but can take up to two weeks to fully clear an bank. As such, if the check is bogus, your bank obviously is not going to be the one taking the hit.
