I won a limited draw to hunt a piece of property in East Texas in November. The last time I won the same draw, I was unsuccessful. My lack of success involved a lot of factors, and I am making adjustments (I had never tried hunting deer in a forest without the benefit of a tree stand).
One thing I learned from the last hunt was that I needed better clothing for hot, humid weather. On the first hunt, I was sweating like a pig and went through more water than I expected. My clothing was sub-optimal, and I made a shit ton of noise moving around.
My plan this time:
Thank you in advance for any helpful advice you may have (brand, materials).

My plan this time:
- Hunt from a ground blind. A tree stand is not an option on the property.
 - I have to exit the property each night and sneak in before first light.
 - Blaze orange dry fit shirt,
 - Lightweight, breathable pants,
 - Lightweight socks,
 - I have to wear a blaze orange hat, so I am looking for one. Once I get in the blind, it is coming off.
