Homemade lock and load round

Guys I have a tap and die set. Was thinking about making a couple for hard to find calibers. Has anyone ever made one?
Advice ?

Drilling and tapping it straight is the hardest part.

I did this. I drilled a hole the diameter of the casing in a block of 2''x4'' to hold the casing upright and drilled on my drill press. You need a snug fit to hold it steady. I had to cut the block in half through the hole and clamp it with a handscrew clamp to hold it snug enough to drill.
