Here’s why some got taken. This asshole took pics, vids of whatever was asked and sent it, which means he has the stuff!! He just is a POS and isn’t shipping them. He answered texts, phone calls etc too… Haven’t seen a scammer commit like this dickhead did…

I do not frequent as often as most of you but I must ask, what is the safest course of payment these days? Other than obvious red flags, what payment method is the go to for protection? I have always used Paypal...

PayPal G&S is the gold standard. I did use my CC on Venmo with this shitbird, so I have my CC company involved now too.

I've bought two pricey optics used off here, both are awesome. one set of boots that I had to return because one communication detail wasn't clear, I should have asked the question better, and recently I scored a real nice jacket the other day too. Nope, all of it is gone. it was over Venmo. There is zero protection with Venmo or any cash to cash transactions. You have to use Paypal or something similar to get full protection.
