Portland has become the unwashed infected asshole of our state… it’s everything I don’t like trapped in one big city… I hate even driving through there… it has become such a nasty shit hole of a place in every regard from politics to cleanliness
It’s seems to be a crotch fruit breeding ground and the spawn continually giving it a rimjob

The Rainbow Family was in the Chequamegon NF a few years ago. It was maybe two weeks after they were supposed to have moved on. I was on a “Dad” trip with my youngest. We stopped at a little gas station/convenience store to get the kid some ice cream.

There were a few Rainbow Family members that were displaying far more dysfunction than peace, love, understanding and tolerance. Accusations of not knowing where to go, how to get there, how long it would take, whether the car would make it, past errors were brought up, intelligence questioned.

My kid was eating ice cream and said, “Wow! She’s crabbier than Mom!”

They probably signed up for party101 online school, helps you escout party areas and helps with backcountry party planning

Highly underrated comment. I actually laughed out loud on that one haha.

No, Colorado is not a great place for this gathering. Nor anywhere else. Trust anyone who's seen what they've left behind, political climate has nothing to do with it.
How about San Francisco? It probably looks like that already.

Where approximately is FS 106?

South of Rand on Hwy 125, then a right at Willow Creek onto FS 106. Or north on Hwy 125 from US 40 just past Granby and take a left on FS 106. Right in the middle of a big area in the National Forest. The only access I can see is from Hwy 125. One way in and one way out.

I remember when I lived in Red Feather Lakes and they came and ruined one of the mountain lakes. What they didn’t pay attention to when they were to ****** up on acid and god knows what we’re the ranchers cattle up stream. They swam and drank the lake water. Well after a week giardia hit them all hard. When they came off the mountain they looked like death. One person drowned and they trashed the area. One lady even asked me to change her tire while her hippy scumbag boyfriend sat in the back of her car. I’m a longhair but hippie and of the like I am not. I threw the tire iron to the guy and said your boyfriend is here. Change your own ******* tire. Most useless group of people 🤦🤦🤦

I remember about 30 years ago the rainbows setting up camp on USFS land here in WNC. The Forest service finally got them run off after crapping all over the place. IIRC, a lot of them got sic and clogged up the local hospital system. We were better off when the Moonies were handing out fake poppies.

Rainbows are a especially stinky brand of broke “east of the Mississippi” type hippies. “The earth will heal” is about as good as you can hope with those jokers…

hmmmm I've met quite a few that were from th midwest/western us many of them from colorado their not all from east of the mississippi

national forest everybody has he right to use it
The right to use it illegally?

The Forest Service requires a special use permit for every public group of 75 people or more conducting a meeting or event on National Forest System lands. The Rainbow Family has consistently refused to comply with the permit process during national gatherings.

That is directly from the Forest Service's Website regarding this year's rainbow gathering. Link below

This group came to Taos a year or so ago - didn't seem like it was as bad as anticipated because the authorities tried to get in front of it. The previous time they came out they did leave a huge mess and thrash the forest area pretty bad.

It didnt seem that bad because 99% of the people who live in Taos are identical in every way to the type of scum that attends rainbow gatherings. There’s literally no difference between a rainbow hippie and a Taos resident.
