Thats too bad on the robot that extended your surgery time.Sounds like your doing well so far. I never took an oxy for pain only tramadol which is med pain relief. Off of that now. Take some stool softener. I didn't go for 6 days after. Sending prayers for speedy recovery. Let pain and limp be your guide for rest and help of a walking device.

Yes, my recovery has been exceptional!!! Not much pain. Stopped the opioids the second day. Not much swelling, no infection, very little pain. Went back to work and driving after two weeks, could have gone back early. I was walking a mile after several days. PT is excellent. I’m happy as hell to walk, almost euphoric! I’m afraid of overdoing it, doing something stupid. I’m a very clumsy oaf. Thanks all!!!

I went to the ortho doc today and he looked at my X-rays and did a exam and he said my right hip is in the bordeline “severe” category and my lefty is about 6 years behind (Im 51, my dad has had both hips replaced and my younger brother has had one). I went in because of having so much discomfort after exercising. I have my replacement surgery scheduled for March 17th… I’m hoping to be ready for a backpack hunt at the end of Sept.
