Hilleberg vs Hyperlite vs Seek Outside

I'd rather have my shelter measure higher than listed specs instead of shorter, that's for sure

I was just about to say that. However I don’t think SO offers a full nest for the Redcliff. I emailed them and asked if they plan on releasing one. Who could make one for me?

I also noticed that the SO Cimarron comes in Cuben now. With a full nest available. That combo would be pretty dam light and prob cheaper than a Hille

You can run two half nests in the RC, or you can run the Cimarron full nest. If you do the full you have to stake it independently, and you'll lose some internal volume, but otherwise it works well.

Bear Paw Wilderness designs makes nests to order or will mod. their existing designs

for you guys with nests...how tall are your floor sidewalls? I’m thinking of going with 4 or 5in sidewalls but I’m worried about tripping over it. But the standard 2.5in that BPWD offers worries me a bit about not being tall enough. Any recommendations?

This is a tough call, I am not interested in a full nest, so I think my setup is the SO DCF Cimarron, with carbon pole, and LBO nest. They do make a 1/2 nest for a Cimarron, but this will be a solo rig, so I would rather have a smaller sleeping space and a place to put a helix chair in the vestibule. Man, it is going to cost me though...
