High country tent suggestions

I'm in the market to purchase a tent thats a better suited fit for some high country hunts that i have planned in the coming years. I'm just curious what shelters/tents others like to use on high country hunts. I haven't hunted true high country before. I currently own a S/O cimarron but I'm thinking about getting a freestanding tent like a Durston x-dome or Tarptent rainbow. It seems like a lot of people like X-Mid, but I'm a little hesitant because it sounds like its a little more cumbersome. Also, I read that the x-mid has a big footprint.

I went with the X Mid 2 cause I wanted more room. It’s only a few ounces heavier than the 1 person. Haven’t had issues with the footprint. Easy to set up. I sometimes just use it like a tarp and don’t use the inner mesh. Just throw my pad on the ground. I really like it.

Lots of good options out there. If I was in the market I would check out Argali tents. Nemo, Big Agnes and Six Moon Designs are worth looking into also.
