Kevin,I use Instafire , Vaseline cotton balls or fatwood . It just depends . Fatwood is hard to beat

Honestly, just what ever is at my local True Value. I toss in a few sticks if I don't want to mess much with a fire or I expect it to be nasty. I've never had much problem with them. Which fatwood do you use? I've had issues lighting some brands that I've tried for my barbeque. Made me avoid it for camping use.
