I had never heard of this guy until I saw this thread. I don’t pay any attention to sponsorships. Some dude or gal wearing gear by X company is just a paid actor in a “reality show.”

If you don’t like these people or disapprove of their actions, stop giving your time and attention to the product they are selling: themselves.

When someone gets busted I check who their sponsors were, and see if they continue to support them. Its pretty easy.


I'm not supporting an outdoor company that decides its good to do business with someone who is a convicted poacher.

It’ll be interesting to see how this ends out, I’ve seen game officers looking to make a name for themselves get pretty over zealous. Not saying that’s the situation here, but possible.

Looks like GoHunt just scrubbed everything about him and his sponsorship from their site too. Not a good look for a mapping software company to be linked to those unit violations. We’ve been thru this before with other poachers but I’ve never seen this level of quick disassociation and deleting all historical publications with a guy. Either he’s asking them to do it out of courtesy or there’s more coming down the pipe.

Sounds like they were watching/tracking him or his hunting partner/buddy’s he told or was with turned him in.
I truly wish the internet/youtube hunters would go away.Get out of the hobby and take it back to 20-30 years ago.

Or they ("industry" people) know that a serious percentage of influencers are constantly doing this exact thing so they have protocol in place for quick dissociation when they get caught.

Yep I dont watch any you tube hunting stuff anymore I try sometimes and wind up not paying attention and turn it off.

Before I lived out west it was nice watching the western hunts and dreaming, now that I live in, I have no interest.

A contract is only valid if its enforced. If the person is making money and not tarnishing the companies name, I doubt most corps care.

I watch a few stand up comedians, then the rest of my YouTube is equipment stuff, mostly farm.

Yea I've been watching some shooting and PRS type stuff. I also enjoy watching police shootouts at 2am when I can sleep for some reasons.

I personally believe that companies that continue to associate themselves with influencers who have been caught and convicted, must be run by people who do this kind of shit themselves. And, the general public who continue to support these companies despite knowing that convicted people are still associated with these businesses are also the kind of people who do the same kind of things.

I doubt the owners of any shows like SCI or the Sheep Show would allow it, but I’d love for an organization or private individual to buy a booth at an event that has nothing but the mug shots/pictures and the charges of convicted poachers.
