Help me pick a tikka stock.

How much higher is the cheek weld? I need a very slight cheek riser to line up on the superlight stock but id love to ditch the riser for this stock.

Without pulling my action, they appear to be pretty close. I haven’t used the factory stock in about 3 years

I’m using the factory bottom plastic and factory mags and I can’t get the bolt to grab the round when I close the bolt. Seems like I need the mag to seat about a millimeter deeper. Anybody else run into this problem?

I had that issue with the Mesa. It came with its own action screws that needed to be used. The factory screws were too short with it

Make sure the recoil lug is seated fully in the groove

That would do it. I will double check but I’m pretty sure I pressed that in firmly. Maybe I’ll give it a few gentle taps.

It's normally not an up/down problem, more of a forwards/backwards issue.
