this is my list, the only stuff counted have the checkmark.
notice at the top it includes 1L water, 2 days food

looking where I can cut weight. I would rather keep my puffy and lose the midweight top...
leave spotter at home? my binos are maven 12x42
go to bivy and light tarp..i think that might shave 1lb to 1.5lb
I would like to be around 25lbs like the guys from XO ...i hate carrying weight :(
Here is a link for eaier viewing

Couple of things

The Lunar Solo has a bathtub floor, no need for a ground cloth—that’s a 1/2 pound

You’re not going to shed much (if any) with a tarp/bivy when your solo shelter is already sub 2 lbs

Sleeping bag weight could be trimmed close to a pound, but at a cost $

Two day trip you can go to a smaller (lighter) charger.

Your puffy could be a bit lighter for ~0
C—especially with the addition of a mid-layer.

Personally I would want a mid-layer AND a puffy unless it’s going to be very warm.

On the question of a spotter that really depends on the species, the country and personal preference. For me—most of elk hunting I don’t need a spotter, for deer and antelope I’ll usually bring a small spotter/light tripod.

great feedback
mostly deer/bear

-lose the tyvek, great idea
-I could go with a lighter puffy. at 18.9oz...columbia synthetic

Lose spotter, tripod, tyvek, contractor bag, and underwear and cut 6lbs
i could lose the boxers.

possibly the spotter....although how will I find the deer then?
same with tripod, using it with binos

Tyvek can go

Contractor bag could go, it has saved my butt as a rain cover for my pack in the past..
