Help: Jetboil throttle stuck wide open

I have a Jetboil that is about 15 months old and one mild season of use, so practically new. Dang gas throttle is stuck, making it dangerous to use when removing the fuel canister. I've tried pliers and don't want to destroy it. Jetboil warranty is 12 months so I have to replace anyway...thought I'd try your help before I shit can it.

I assume it’s stuck open? The whole valve assy should come out. If I recall there are two flats on the inboard part of the valve where it threads into the burner body and with the correct size wrench it should thread out. No idea of getting it out will help resolve why it’s stuck or help fix it.
