Helinox Tactical Swivel Chair

I got a chair one in multicam for my dad for xmas. I'm waiting for it to get here and if I like it I may order one for myself.

If you're going to be using the chair on soft ground, I recommend the groundsheet. Otherwise someone will have the chair sink and dump them out. Which can be hilarious!

I am too poor to afford a tactical chair. So I use a 'tactical' Milk Stool...... Bein's how it's a one-legger, it pivots, too. If you don't have good balance, it may not be for you, tho.

Well, my Helinox Tactical Swivel Chair finally arrived - well-made, and far more sturdy than some of the cheaper knock-offs I've seen.

And I think the fact that it can swivel - whether in the field or at camp - places it ahead of their Chair One.

Interested to hear here from other folks who have this model ...

Just grabbed 4 of these.. so people stay out of my helinox lol

Our friends have the Helinox verison of these and aside from labeling we couldn't find any difference. I think you'll be happy with them especially at less than $30 per chair. Just super glue them darn feet on there. ;)

I like the price of the King-Do-Way ones. Very tempting.
I see that Helinox has a new chair called the Chair Zero. Supposedly weighs 1 lbs. even. While the King one is significantly cheaper, it comes in at an advertised wright of 1.7 lbs. Anyone care to comment if the new Helinox zero is worth the cost for the weight saving/durability?

So I bought a Crazy Creek Hex 2.0 chair last year because I thought it was pretty light. Looking at the specs, it's rated at 1.5 lb. That King do way chair at 1.7 seems like a better option for pretty similar weight. Can anyone confirm the real world weight of one?

Yeah, it's more like 1.9 oz (29.5 oz on my scale). But for the price difference and when and where I would actually haul this which is mainly fly in or base camp style trips they work just fine for me.
