An electrical heater will eat power. You would need a bunch of batteries or a generator to run one. Better off with an electric blanket instead.

I have seen one that run on pellets too.

That one is the best way to go I think.

For a really small space to just "warm up" I will light my little alcohol stove and let that burn for 20min. Produces a very small amount of CO2. Warms the place up.
I have a small wood stove in my cargo trailer which works well. I have a carbon monoxide alarm as well.

That little heater is low power but puts out good heat. I get the need a power source but Seems like a generator will be used any way.

If you are serious about heating a trailer, get a vented RV heater. I have built 3 fish house trailers using them. ( I used Suburban brand) can get them from 12–40k BTU. Very simple to install and use. More $ than the diesel heater but you get a “set it and forget it” t-stat. It’s forced air so you can run ducts where you want them.

BTW you guys building out cargo trailers should research diy fish house builds. Several years ago there was a lot of discussion on this and a lot of good ideas and pictures.
