I would like to try this brand out for my evening meals this year. I wonder if any of you who have used her entrees or breakfasts ( I sometimes eat breakfast for my evening meal) could help recommend some of their offerings that you like best. And if there are any you would steer away from I would like to know that as well. Thanks!

My favorite so far is the ethopian dorowat...pretty spicey but I like spicey. Didnt care for the packaroons or the buckwheat breakfast as I am not a fan of coconut...

Everyones tastes/preference are different if I were you I'd just order one of each meal and figure out what you like and then get more. Thats what i did anyway, also she does coupon code specials occasionally too.

I just ate the banana buckwheat this morning and it was good. I've also had the coconut packroons and the are like crack. Very good! Do you wallet a favor and google "sweet coconut macaroon recipe". They are very easy to make and you'll save a bunch of money.

I've been using Heathers Choice meals pretty much exclusively here over the last year or so. Ethiopian Dorwat is probably my favorite followed by Moms Pasgetti, I personally really like the packaroons and try to bring one for every day I'll be in the field but make most of my own power bars. My boys say the buckwheat breakfasts are good but Ive never liked oatmeal so I pass on it. I her meals and all the benefits they have to offer but outside of a big trip I don't eat it a lot I'm afraid I'd get burned out on it.

I've had Moms Pasgetti and the Dark Chocolate Chili and they were both good. Will be buying some more for this falls elk hunt.

God Bless.

I decided a few months ago that I wanted to try Heather's this fall and I am going to order this sampler package: Heather's Choice Sampler Box – Heather's Choice

I also plan to make these DIY High Calorie Bars soon DIY High Calorie Bars |.

In the interest of having a better product for less money, I want to start whipping up my own back country foods as much as possible and I am interested in any recipes that you guys would like to share.

thanks,
Jeff

Yeah, I have been wanting to look into dehydrating my own home cooked meals for later in the field use. I don't really know where to begin, or if there really are any specific ways you must dehydrate food.

Only one item is sold out. And that is the Dark Chocolate Chili. Everything else is in stock.

Last Sunday they where sold out of pretty much everything, Monday she updated. I bet she will be low on stock again quickly with Sept fastly approaching.

I was hoping the dark chocolate chili would be in stock.

I would probably buy the Buckwheat breakfasts in bulk, like a can of oats if you sold them that way.

Hunting Coues deer during a severe cold snap last Dec, I ate two of those every morning. One first thing and a second bag once we set up to glass. We were glassing Coues deer in the sun therefore sitting in the shade. It was wicked cold with high winds and the fat content in that meal really helped keep me warm.
