Myself (42) and my son (14) are tagging along with two other guys to Wyoming. They each have cow tags. Son and I are looking to enjoy the scenery and experience, learn a bit, and hopefully help pack out some meat.

Roksliders have helped me spend some money the past few months 😂 and I wanted to say thanks, and hopefully share some pics and stories here when we return. I’m thankful for the wealth of information here. Can’t wait to experience it for myself.

The weather forecast has warmed considerably, from cold/snowy to warmer/rainy for the early week. Maybe that won’t be too detrimental. Any thoughts on that?

We head West from Louisiana tomorrow morning. Spent a week in Chama, NM over the summer, and headed to CO to ski in February. Trying to escape the heat and humidity of the Deep South as often as possible!

Weather change next week, bring your snow and cold clothes.
I'd say $ 208 for a wolf is a bargain, talk with the Bio or GW and see if they are in your area.
If you buy a tag you'll see a whole pack, get the tag.
Where else are you going to shoot a wolf for $208 ?

Depends where you are in Wyoming, if in a "trophy zone" need a tag, if not don't, they are classified as vermin. Sounds like you will be in a trophy zone. Have fun, Wyoming is beautiful, but winter is coming.
