Hawken Rifle Build

Was the plans you referenced come from the Hawken shop, these guys are supposed to be the go to place when it comes to these rifles. I also am anticipating Jims Hawken kit and would consider a build if he would offer a left hand version, I own and hunt with long rifles of the flintlock variety, never built one these rifles as they were built bye various builders. My favorite one is a Andre’s Albricht style a Moravian builder its in .62 cal. do make all my accoutrements such as bags, horns and the other various needed items to make these work, It can be a deep rabbit hole to go down but a enjoyable one non the less. Our early Muzzle loading season is approaching its my favorite time of the year to hunt white tails. Good luck and happy hunting there’s something about killing a deer with a rifle that dates it origins back 200 - 250 years
